Sean is an experienced Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and professional advisor. He leverages tremendous knowledge gained serving in the executive suite of operating companies as well as in accounting and consulting to provide a la C.A.R.T.E.’s clients with the guidance and financial tools they need to make informed business decisions and optimize performance. Sean also leads ALC client teams, supervising and mentoring accounting staff to ensure the successful delivery of reliable and accurate financial reporting and accounting technology implementations.

EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining ALC, Sean was the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of a $200M pricing optimization and ticket distribution company that partnered with professional sport teams and venues.  In these roles, he:

  • Improved gross profit margin by over 80% and reduced recurring SG&A expenses by over 20%, resulting in the most profitable year in company history in 2019.
  • Secured the company’s first credit agreement with an outside bank in the form of a $20M revolving line of credit.
  • Created best-in-class executive dashboards using a third-party data analytics platform utilized daily throughout the organization.
  • Developed an integration between the point-of-sale system and accounting software.
  • Designed a detailed manual for the point-of-sale system to ensure consistent and accurate accounting of transactions by all users.

Sean began his professional career at the largest regional business advisory firm in New England. During his nine years at the firm, Sean provided auditing and consulting services for some of its largest and most prestigious clients in industries including manufacturing, distribution, retail, construction, non-profit and healthcare.

BEYOND ACCOUNTING & FINANCE

Sean lives in Tolland, Connecticut with his wife and their three young children. He spends his free time mountain biking, golfing, hiking, playing board games and pursuing competitive activiites.  He is an avid New York Jets Fan and loves live music. Sean is passionate about supporting research for pancreatic cancer and has participated in the PurpleStride walk for the last five years.
