Riccela graduated from Cleveland State University in May 2025 with a degree in Human Resource Management. She was drawn to HR because of the meaningful connections it creates and the opportunity to make a positive impact on both individuals and businesses. She is passionate about creating positive workplace experiences, supporting employee growth, and helping organizations succeed through strategic HR practices.
Riccela began her HR career in 2022 as an intern with Independence Excavating, supporting onboarding, recruiting, and employee engagement initiatives. In 2024, she joined TravelCenters of America as a Human Resources Compliance Intern, where she focused on I-9 documentation and helped increase compliance completion from 60% to 95%.
Most recently, Riccela worked at Hotel Cleveland, Autograph Collection, supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, engagement, and compliance. Through these experiences, she has developed a well-rounded HR foundation focused on supporting both employees and organizational success.
