Riccela graduated in May 2025 from Cleveland State University with a degree in Human Resource Management. She fell in love with HR because of the meaningful connections you make and the impact you can have on both individuals and businesses. She’s passionate about creating positive workplace experiences, supporting employee growth, and ensuring organizational success through strategic HR practices.

Riccela Wise began her career in the summer of 2022 as an intern with Independence Excavating, assisting wit onboarding, recruiting, and employee engagement events. In the summer of 2024, she joined Travel Centers of America as a Human resource Compliance intern, focusing on I-9 documentation and ensuring store compliance, increasing completion from 60% to 95%. Her last employment she worked at Hotel Cleveland, Autograph Collection, where she supported recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, employee engagement, and I-9 documentation, helping to create a positive experience for both employees and the organization
