Melissa works closely with a la C.A.R.T.E. Solutions’ clients to deliver timely, accurate, reliable accounting services. She applies years of experience working at companies in wide-ranging industries to prepare financial statements, perform bookkeeping and account reconciliations, manage accounts receivables and payables, process payroll, prepare sales tax returns and 1099’s, and complete special projects as needed. Melissa implements best accounting practices, including the latest technology solutions, to improve efficiencies and support clients’ business planning processes.
Prior to joining ALC, Melissa was a key member of the accounting and finance departments of a regional heavy equipment dealer, a Fortune 500 manufacturer/distributor and a non-profit, multi-entity provider of the senior living services. Her responsibilities included interfacing with outside auditors, ensuring accounting accuracy among multiple departments, budgeting and reporting, streamlining processes, new product development and cash management.
Melissa is skilled at using numerous ERP accounting software systems and taught informal Excel classes to co-workers.
