Heather believes that strong HR leadership starts with genuine connection and ends with lasting impact. With over a decade of experience leading HR functions across construction, public accounting, and manufacturing, she brings a practical, no-nonsense approach to building cultures where both people and business thrive. Known for her ability to balance empathy with strategy, Heather helps organizations navigate complex employee relations, performance management, and compliance challenges—while keeping communication open and people at the center.
Heather brings over 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience supporting companies across industries such as construction, public accounting, and manufacturing.
Heather began her HR career in manufacturing, where she supported union and non-union workforces, managed payroll operations, and led key initiatives in engagement, compliance, and performance management. She later served as the HR Director at a regional public accounting firm, where she oversaw HR for five office locations, provided outsourced HR support to clients, and enhanced employee engagement through improved onboarding, leadership coaching, and policy development.
Her industry-spanning experience also includes managing a $40M+ account in a previous sales leadership role, where she developed critical training and process improvements that strengthened cross-department collaboration.
Key achievements throughout her career include: building HR infrastructure from the ground up for a multi-office professional services firm; improving retention through performance and engagement strategies; leading talent acquisition across several states; and providing compliance guidance that reduced legal and operational risk.
Heather is SHRM-CP certified, People Manager Qualified, and holds a BA in Human Resources and Business Management from Upper Iowa University.
