Carrie is a finance professional with 20 years of experience in both operational and strategic financial leadership positions. She has a wide range of industry expertise includes professional services, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, as well as non profits. Her experience spans all company life cycle stages from start up to maturity. Carrie brings strong leadership skills focusing both on technical and strategic approaches. She has demonstrated success in building and managing a high-performance finance function, with proven experience meeting the demands of companies in high growth phases. Maintains active CPA license.

EXPERIENCE

Carrie brings 20 years of experience in various financial leadership roles. She began her career in public accounting as an auditor focusing primarily on manufacturing and non-profit clients. After 6 years of leading client engagements, Carrie moved into a corporate role as Assistant Controller at a large logistics company with revenue of $100M+. Carrie has always had a passion for client services and decided to exit corporate life to start her own accounting firm which she operated for 8 years before selling her partnership interest to her co-founder. She joined ALC with 10 years of experience working with clients in a fractional CFO capacity and understands the unique perspective of business owners from her personal experience as a founder.

BEYOND ACCOUNTING & FINANCE

Carrie lives in East Tennessee with her husband and 2 children. While her young kids keep her very busy, Carris is an avid runner and enjoys traveling and cooking. She has been heavily involved for 20 years as a volunteer for animal rescue and volunteers at the local animal shelter.
