Betsy is a seasoned accounting and finance executive with extensive experience in multiple industries – including manufacturing, transportation, healthcare services, insurance/financial services, education, and government. In addition to her technical accounting skills, Betsy has a growth mindset and values continuous improvement.

Betsy started her career as an accounting clerk, spending 10 years working full time and attending school at night – ultimately earning a master’s degree in business administration. Prior to joining ALC, Betsy spent 15 years as Chief Financial Officer for organizations with annual revenues ranging from $200 million to $700 million. She has also led her teams through numerous financial statement and governmental compliance audits, without findings. Betsy has extensive experience strengthening connections between operations and accounting, leading to increased revenue, efficiencies, and lower costs. She implements KPI’s to provide accurate and timely information that enable data-based decisions – leading to operational improvements and more accurate forecasting.

Betsy’s home base is in Ojai, California near her sister, dad, niece, nephew, and other extended family. She loves to hike the many trails in the beautiful Ojai valley and frequent locally owned coffee shops. When not enjoying her beautiful hometown, Betsy loves to travel. Alone, with family, or in a group – as long as she is exploring, learning about other cultures and drinking coffee! Dog lover, cat mom, PADI divemaster, and advocate for those suffering from mental illness and/or addiction.
